One of the most important shrines of muslims, Hazratbal shrine is located on the left bank of Dal Lake in Srinagar. The shrine is also known as Dargah Sharif, Assar-e-Sharif and madinat-us-Sani. The white marble shrine has a great view of the lake with Himalayas in the background. The architecture of the mosque has influence of both Mughal & Kashmir. The shrine is for respect and love of Prophet Mohammad. Shab-e-Meraj is one of the popular fair held at Hazratbal when maximum pilgrims visit the shrine. The Watul Mela is also popular. Beautiful Dal Lake and snow clad mountains, surrender yourself to peace & almighty at Hazartbal.
