The small house, the revolutionary father, the mother who is struggling to run the house in the little that they earn, the naughty younger brother who won’t study and the sister who is living far away; it blends in the life situation of most of the families today. A story about the life in rural during the time period between 1967 and 1972, it perfectly depicts the kind of life the then people might have lead.

The little fights, the small words of care and love, the kind of unity that is described in the story are like none other. This is where the book stands different from the others. Simple language, clear descriptions and genuine situations makes the book stand out.

Leave that mobile aside, keep that laptop away for a while and spend time the way they did back then & you will realize how wonderful life can be.
