Netflix the international rage is finally here in India, the online VoD service has 3 plans in India starting at Rs. 500.
The 3 plans namely basic, standard and premium are priced at Rs. 500, Rs. 650 and Rs. 800 respectively. All 3 plans will give users a 1 month free trial period of the selected plan accordingly.
The basic plan which is priced at Rs. 500 entitles users to gain access to unlimited movies and TV shows; these movies or shows can only be streamed in SD and not in HD and one can only watch it on a single screen at a time. The viewers can watch it on a Laptop, Desktop, Tablet, Phone etc.
The Standard plan is priced at Rs. 650 and the core difference is that it lets the viewers watch all the content in HD instead of SD, also content can be streamed on 2 screens simultaneously.
The premium plan which is priced at Rs. 800 is the top of the line with UHD streaming capabilities which can be used to stream media on 4 screens simultaneously.
As of the data consumption is concerned the basic plan will consume 1 GB of data for every hour of streaming while the standard and the premium will consume up to 3 GB of data.
