Andaman Islands – a group of 572 islands situated in the Bay of Bengal are a beautiful mix of picturesque beaches, green forests, unique wildlife and splendid marine & corals. The Islands are located close to Thailand and Myanmar and the best way to reach the islands is by air. One of the places to visit first during your Andaman Trip is infamous “Kaala Paani” also known as “Cellular Jail”. “Kaala Pani”, now declared as a national memorial was one the cruelest and darkest Jail in the Indian struggle for Independence. A spectacular Light and Sound Show exhibiting the struggle of prisoners is shown everyday to thousands of tourists visiting the Jail.

One of the main attractions of the Andaman Trip is- Baratang Island known for its Mud Volcano, Limestone Caves, Mangrove forests and the Jarawa Tribes. Another important and a must visit in Andaman Islands is Havelock Islands. Known for its beaches Havelock Islands is a perfect way to give yourself some nature therapy. “Radha Nagar Beach” in Havelock Island was rated as one of the “Best Beach in Asia” in 2004.

Some other most popular Tourist Attractions in Andaman Nicobar include Samudrika Museum, Bangaram Island, Andaman Water Sports Complex, Gandhi Park, Corbyn’s Cove Complex, Anthropological Museum, Fisheries Museum and Cinque Island.
If adventure is on your mind – Scuba Diving is one of the popular recreational activities in Andaman. Experience the marine life underneath water by seeing diverse variety of colorful corals and marine creatures.

Indulge yourself in some local seafood- fried fish, crabs or lobsters. Name the delicacy and they have it for you plates. Andaman Islands are heaven for the Seafood lovers.
