Micromax Launches the Canvas Tab P680

Micromax has launched a new tablet dubbed as the Canvas Tab P680 which is priced at Rs. 9,499 and is targeted towards consumer who enjoy the audio and sound experience.

The main selling point of this tablet is its 8 inch WXGA IPS display with dual box speakers inbuilt, it is also the first tablet by Micromax to run on android lollipop.

As of the specifications go the tab P680 flaunts a 8-inch WXGA (800×1280 pixels) IPS display with anti-glare coating, under the hood there is a 1.3 GHz quad-core processor chipset along with 1 GB of RAM. There is 16 GB of on-board storage along with the expansion slot to expand the storage upto 32 GB.

There is a 5 MP rear camera along with LED flash and a 2 MP front camera for video calling. The connectivity on the tablet have options like dual-SIM card slots, 3G support, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0 and USB OTG.

There is a 4,000 mAh battery to power the tablet and it will be available from 22^nd of august in leading retail outlets as well as major online portals.
