LG electronics the Korean giant has launched a new phone dubbed as LG Max and the phone is targeted primarily towards selfie lovers.
The Max houses a 5 inch FWVGA (854 X 480) display. The phone is powered by a 1.3 GHz quad-core processor chipset paired with 1 GB of RAM. There is 8 GB of internal storage which can further be expanded by the help of a Micro SD card.
The main USP of the device is its 5 MP front selfie camera which along with a few software tweaks make it a really good option for selfie freaks. Some of the software gimmicks include gesture shot and selfie flash, the gesture shot allows one to click a picture without using their hands while the selfie flash brightens the screen while clicking a picture give a soft flash effect.
Apart from the selfie front camera there is a 8 MP rear camera with LED flash, a 2540 mAh battery to run the show and the usual connectivity options which include WiFi, Bluetooth, dual sim card slots, GPS etc.
On the software front the Max runs android 5.1.1 lollipop out of the box with LG’s very own custom skin applied over it.
The phone is priced at Rs. 10,990.
