Meizu another Chinese giant has joint the bandwagon and launched the M1 Note in India, the phone is priced at Rs. 11,999 and is exclusively available on Amazon. Meizu has chosen the traditional open sale method for the sale of its product which is a first we’ve seen in the recent past.
As of the specifications, the front of the phone houses a 5.5 inch Full HD (1920x 1080) display protected with corning’s gorilla glass 3. Under the hood it is powered by a Mediatek MT6752 octa-core chipset clocked at 1.7 Ghz coupled with Mali T760 GPU and 2 GB of RAM. There is 16/32 GB internal storage which cannot be expanded via the help of a micro SD card.
For the shutterbugs the phone has a 13 MP rear camera and a 5 MP front facing Slefie camera. The battery is a 3,140 mAh unit and will last you about 8 hours on a single charge. The phone is LTE enabled and there are dual sim card slots with the normal connectivity options like WiFi, Bluetooth, GPS etc.
The phone runs on Flyme UI which is again a custom skin applied to enhance the user experience, the Flyme UI is based on android 4.4.4 Kitkat. Flyme UI could be a hit and miss in the Indian markets as it may not appeal to a lot of people in India.
