Clean Yamuna event organized by Shri Yamuna Seva Samiti and Muskaan K.K memorial trust ended successfully

New Delhi, September 21, 2015:  Clean Yamuna event has ended successfully in Sonia Vihar on September 20, 2015. This event was organized by Shri Yamuna Seva Samiti and Muskaan K.K memorial trust. More than 700 childrens participated in the event.

MCD Mayor Annapurna Mishra was the Chief Guest of event. The event started with a rally. During this event, children from different parts of Delhi participated in painting competition.  Black Pearl Art Group presented a Street Play (Nukkad Natak) on Yamuna Cleaning project. Annapurna Mishra was continuously motivating the desire of people. She was also happy to see an enthusiasm as younger generation is so active in participating social activities.

Arpita Bansal, Founder of Muskaan K.K. Memorial Trust was also present at the event. She said “Cleanliness is very important part of our life. The way we keep ourselves clean as well as our house, it is also our responsibility to keep our surroundings and society clean.  Yamuna cleanliness campaign is just a small step. We need to take it forward and make it successful”

Dharmendra Gupta and Vinod Sharma, members of Shri Yamuna Seva Samiti thanked to all who was present to participate in this campaign and are doing best to involve people in campaign as well as to make people aware. After the event was over, the evening Aarti took place.  All guests  like Arpita Bansal, Dr. Annapurna Mishra, Harish Arora, Samta Jain, Sandeep Kumar, Dharmendra Gupta, Vinod Sharma, Mehant Anil Goswami, Trilochan Singh were present at the Aarti.
