What dreams are made of

When you hear the word dreams, you think about your academic dreams. But no this is not only about those. It’s about the road trips you always planned on going, those extensively planned trips to Goa or Manali, and those lifestyles you always read that people have. Everything sounds more fun in the fictional world or in the movies. Everyone wants more from their life. And that’s normal. It’s human.

We all want that amazing feeling of adrenaline flowing with our blood. Not because we are reckless. But because we all want to feel like we have no responsibilities. And once in a while it’s a good thing.  But sometimes you need to stop. Because moving all around the place can get a bit tiring and we might just end up broke.

We all have these dreams about how we want our lives to be, and somewhere we know what we want. Every person dreams of what they don’t have. You dream about peace in the noisy crowd and vice versa. You dream of college when you are in school and dream about school when you are in college.  And so many more dreams we have every day of our lives.

A dream can be as small as getting a bike or as big as becoming the president. No matter how small or big, no dream will ever be meaningless. Your dreams make you what you are. Conquering these dreams is the best feeling in the world. It’s better than sleeping and better than a hot cup of coffee/tea in the morning. It’s like winning a war against all those people who said that your dream was useless or it was not possible.

And it is okay if you still haven’t found your big dream. Just complete your small ones. If you don’t know what to do once you graduate, it is okay. First graduate with flying colors, or excel in your semester. A big dream always has smaller dreams in it. Just like a big tour/journey has small expeditions/trips in it. So who knows maybe you will realize your big dream when you achieve it.

Many people might not believe in you or in your dreams. And might even mock you every time you talk about it. But you see their opinion or their point of view don’t matter. What they think don’t matter, because it’s your dream. You thought of it, they didn’t. No one will ever look at your dream the way you do. And if you don’t rush after it, no one will. We wouldn’t have any of the technology that we use daily, if no one would’ve thought about it. You wouldn’t be reading this on your computer/phone/laptop, you’d be reading this in some book, on some paper, and maybe not even there if someone hadn’t thought about.

Maybe that stupid idea that you have in your head, could change the world. It’s up to you to nurture it and turn that thought, that dream into a reality. This world is waiting for what you have to offer. All a dream wants is for one person to believe in it. So believe in yours.

About Sprightly Spirit

“I dare do all that may become a man. Who dares more is none”. And all, may be. It may be the vigor. Or the spirit. Or the courage to avoid being “politically correct” or bent. And, ban all averse with immaculate overture of graciously fathomable words firm in views. Subtle. Justifying the undying conscience. Values. Knowledge. And, dares to stay true. True to own. True to the world. And, to the words. With a dream in eyes it exists. In you. In me. In all. The sprite that never shies away. The spirit that never dies!
