Galaxy of stars!

“Dil hai chhota sa, chhoti si asha

Masti bhare mann ki bholi si asha

Chaand taaron ko chhoone ki asha

Aasmaano mein udne ki asha”  —Yes, she is lost forever in the galaxy of stars!

Pratyusha Banerjee alias Anandi of Balika Vadhu- a beautiful 24 years girl from Jamshedpur is no more amongst her fans! Her ambitions were small, her wants were small and she wanted a small house in which she could live and glitter with her lover but she left this world to finally shine eternally amongst the twinkling stars.

anandi-readMedia is trying to make this painful news spicy and sell this incident, showing her boyfriend Rahul Raj Singh’s and hers horoscope and certain predictions which do not hold any meaning now. I am pained.

Pratyusha has become a ‘news’ to increase the TRP and just like the very beautiful Jiah Khan, she too will be forgotten forever- her body silently finding solace in the heart of Earth- her soul gaining freedom from the tormenting turmoil of her life!

Hardly anyone knew (if the current reports are to be believed) that in her heart Pratyusha nurtured the auspicious feeling of marital bliss to the epitome of destruction. No Bollywood aspiring actress wants marriage at this point of her life! If an actress wants so, it shows her mental unstable condition- trying to find a pillar of support. It means she is having some real emotional problem in her life which is eating her up. She wants love- she wants security and this is what Pratyusha probably was trying to get from Rahul Raj Singh. But why so? Why only from Rahul? Where were her parents? How did she manage to come to Bollywood from a small town like Jamshedpur? So many questions are now thronging in my head. But even if I manage to get all the answers, I will never get back the chirpy girl… I know this!

Parents are now saying that their daughter was under mental stress. Parents have lost their daughter and my full sympathy is with them but shouldn’t they have stood strongly beside her when she was undergoing such emotional stress in her life? I simply hate blame games.

Rahul’s mother Shivani Singh is pointing fingers at Pratyusha’s parents for embezzling her money and Pratyusha’s parents are trying to get Rahul punished. But where will this all lead? Are we going to get Pratyusha back? All relationships have their ups and downs. Pratyusha too had a break up before she entered into a relationship with Rahul. When once you are in a profession where your man is surrounded by beautiful girls, you have to bear many things but then there was no one to counsel Pratyusha. She took a plunge from a small town to a town of false promises but there was no one to guard her feathers which kept falling on her own…one by one when finally her soul became naked and she quietly slipped into pratyusha11another world.

More so, there is another debate if this gory incident was a ‘suicide’ or’ murder’? The big question however is  this, will Pratyusha come back? And we all know the answer.

Bollywood is filled with many more Pratyushas and Jiahs who should be constantly counselled by their near and dear ones who are the first to come on televisions and play the dirty blame game! Save your girls within time instead of ranting afterwards!

I am disturbed. I have girls at home and neighbourhood. I want all mothers, sisters, friends, teachers to be always a big emotional support to the current generation.

I don’t want anyone to be like Pratyusha who had entered the tinsel town to sparkle but quietly left it behind to shine amongst in the galaxy of stars! Pratyusha- you could not become a ‘Vadhu’ in real life but will always remain as ‘Balika Vadhu’ in our hearts! RIP.
