Netherlands beat Brazil 3-0 to take third place

 

Brazil’s misery in the World Cup continued as they lost 3-0 to Netherlands in the third-place decider on Saturday.

 After losing 7-1 loss to Germany in the semifinals, Brazil team was seen struggling all through the match against the Dutch.

Robin van Persie scored the first goal for Netherlands from penalty in just three minutes after Thiago Silva pushed Arjen Robben.

Daley Blind scored the second goal and Georginio Wijnaldum made it third in the injury time.

With injured Neymar on the bench, Brazil got their captain Thiago Silva back in the game after suspension, but it did not work for Brazil coach Luiz Scolari who had made six changes from the last game against Germany.
