India all set to win the first test against Australia in Chennai.

India on a verge to win against Australia in Chennai testOn the fourth day Australia’s second innings collapsed against Indian spinners and they end the day with 175 for 9 with debutant Moises Henriques (75*) still on crease with last batsman with Nathan Lyon (8*), fighting to avoid innings defeat.

Earlier in the day Mahendra Singh Dhoni made career best 224 and gave India a solid lead of 192 runs. India made whooping 572 runs in their first innings.

Henriques and Nathan Lyon put 57 runs last wicket partnership only to delay Australia’s defeat.

Ashwin took five wickets for 90 runs and Harbhajan took 2 wickets.

Australia 1st Innings:  380

India 1st Innings:  572

Australia 2nd Innings: 175-9
