PV Sindhu wins bronze at World Badminton Championships

PV Sindhu created became the first Indian to bag two bronze medals at the World Championships. However, the 11-seed Sindhu failed to become the first Indian women to reach the finals of the World Championship.

The 19-year-old Hyderabadi settled with bronze after she lost out in the Semifinal against Carolina Marin at the Ballerup Super Arena in Copenhagen. Marin beat Sindhu 17-21, 15-21 and broke millions of heart.

This was her second World Championship and Sindhu won a bronze, repeating last year’s performance.

She also won bronze at the recently concluded Commonwealth Games in Glasgow.

About Sprightly Spirit

“I dare do all that may become a man. Who dares more is none”. And all, may be. It may be the vigor. Or the spirit. Or the courage to avoid being “politically correct” or bent. And, ban all averse with immaculate overture of graciously fathomable words firm in views. Subtle. Justifying the undying conscience. Values. Knowledge. And, dares to stay true. True to own. True to the world. And, to the words. With a dream in eyes it exists. In you. In me. In all. The sprite that never shies away. The spirit that never dies!
