Aam Aadmi Party wins trust vote in Delhi assembly

Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal has proved his government’s majority on the floor of Delhi assembly on Thursday with the support from Congress, JD (U) and an Independent MLA. With their own 28 seats, Aam Aadmi Party government now has the support of 37 MLAs in 70-seat-Delhi assembly.

“Now that AAP government has won the trust vote, real test begins,” Kejriwal said adding assurance that his government “will try to resolve all challenges with people’s support.”

BJP leader Dr Harsh Vardhan criticized AAP for accepting support from the ‘corrupt’ Congress.
