Pema Khandu takes oath as Chief Minister of Arunachal Pradesh

A day after Nabam Tuki resigned from the post of CM, Pema Khandu took oath as the Chief Minister of Arunachal Pradesh on Sunday.

Pema Khandu, son of the former Chief Minister Dorjee Khandu, is the youngest chief minister of India at 36.

The controversial Governor of the state Tathagat Roy has said that Pema Khandu does not need to go for floor test as he has already shown 45 MLAs’ support to his government.

Along with Khandu, the deputy chief minister Chowna Mein has taken oath in Itanagar as well.
