Blamed in exam scam, MP governor resigns

Madhya Pradesh Governor Ram Naresh Yadav on Wednesday, resigned, following blames on him and his son for involvement in the exam scam. Earlier, the Union Home Minister had asked Mr Yadav to resign after the scam news grabbed headlines.

A STF (Special Task Force) team that was probing the MPPEB scam, registered an FIR against Ram Naresh Yadav in connection with the rumored unevenness of forest guards in recruitment, under various sections of the IPC, including 420 for cheating.

The MPPEB scam involves many politicians, senior officials and many other businessmen.

Ram Naresh Yadav has been charged with criminal conspiracy in putting up hastily the forest guard recruitment examination. On the other hand, his son Sailesh, has been blamed in an FIR concerning contractual teachers recruitment exam.

Yadav had sent a list of 3 candidates to MPPEB bandits asking the hindmost to ensure that they pass the written examination of the forest guard recruitment examination held in 2012, said sources. He had used his official letter pad to write the note, sources added.
