ISRO successfully launch India’s Largest Rocket – GSLV Mark III

The Indian space Research Organisation (ISRO) has successfully launched India’s most powerful and heaviest rocket GSLV Mk-III on Thursday from Sriharikota.

45557742The 42.4 meters tall rocket is capable of doubling the capacity of payloads India can carry into space. With the successful experimental crew module, the ISRO scientist now achieved to create ways to launch heavy satellites to space without any foreign helps.

The GSLV Mk III is also marks the beginning of India’s ambitious project to send human into space flight programme.

The prime minister Narendra Modi congratulated the ISRO scientists on tweeter as saying, “Successful launch of GSLV Mk-III is yet another triumph of brilliance and hardwork of our scientists. Congrats to them for the efforts.”
