Uddhav Thackeray to meet BJP top leaders in Delhi

It seems Shiv Sena has finally realized that they are not in a position to bargain with BJP in forming next government in Maharashtra. After two Sena leaders Subhash Desai and Anil Desai hold talks with senior BJP leaders in New Delhi yesterday, Sena chief Uddhav Thackeray is set to visit Delhi in a day or two to meet Prime Minister Narendra Modi and seal the deal.

Sena’s position gets jolted after NCP announced unconditional support to BJP and provided an unexpected breather to the single largest party with 123 seats in the state from bowing down to pressure of Matoshree.

It is still not clear what Sena wants in return of supporting BJP-led government in the state.

BJP leader OP Mathur had said that BJP only need 7-8 more seats to claim to form the majority government as the party has ensured support of 15 seats more from allies.

“We now have 137, even 138 seats,” Mathur told reporters.

Meanwhile, BJP’s Maharashtra President Devendra Fadnavis is in leading the race to become the next chief minister despite the demand of some MLAs to announce Union minister Nitin Gadkari as the state’s chief minister.

About Sprightly Spirit

“I dare do all that may become a man. Who dares more is none”. And all, may be. It may be the vigor. Or the spirit. Or the courage to avoid being “politically correct” or bent. And, ban all averse with immaculate overture of graciously fathomable words firm in views. Subtle. Justifying the undying conscience. Values. Knowledge. And, dares to stay true. True to own. True to the world. And, to the words. With a dream in eyes it exists. In you. In me. In all. The sprite that never shies away. The spirit that never dies!
