Lt Gen KS Brar Attacked In London

The man who led the “Operation Blue Star”, Retired Lt General K S Brar was attacked on Sunday night near Hyde Park in central London. Lt General K S Brar played a great role in 1971 war with Pakistan too.

Lt Gen Brar was attacked by three bearded men while he was on his way to the hotel along with his wife. However it is not clear whether the incident related to his role in the “Operation Blue Star”. Although investigations are on but no arrests have been made so far. He was taken to the hospital and released later.

1984’s Operation Blue Star aimed to wash out pro- Khalistani terrorists led by Jarnail Singh Bhindrawale from the Golden Temple.
