In the latest developments, a man, apparently on a suicide mission, claimed the lives of at the least 70 people, causing many more casualties and wounding several more, in an attack that shook the very nation of Pakistan, on Monday.
The sudden blast took place in the city of Quetta, which lies in the southwestern part of the nation. The list of the victims includes mostly white-collared professionals, or people from corporate sectors like lawyers and journalists.
No immediate motive was revealed behind the attack that shook the core and the mass of the nation which had already been reeling under the previous attacks, however there have been reports surfacing that it was primarily targeted at the city hospital. The Islamic State of Iraq and Syria (ISIS) have claimed responsibility behind the horrific action.
