“I believe that we have identified (him). I’m not going to tell you who I believe it is,” said FBI Director James Comey. He however refused to reveal anything more than this.

Remember, Jihadi John is wanted by the United States as well as the United Kingdom, as he has beheaded three – two from America and one from the U.K.

Previously, on 14th September, United Kingdom’s Prime Minister, David Cameron too, had confirmed that Jihadi’s John’s identity is known. He however did not disclose it, saying that it is yet to be revealed. David Cameron had earlier said that Jihadi John will face justice one way or the other.

isis-7In August, American Journalist James Foley was beheaded after which Steven Sotloff, another American journalist was beheaded earlier in September. The Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), that investigated the authenticity of the video, had confirmed it to be a genuine video.

State Secretary John Kerry had called Jihadi John a “coward behind mask” while President Barack Obama condemned the killings.

A Manhunt has been launched by FBI, MI5 and Scotland Yard to trace Jihadi John and bring him before law. Admiral Alan West, a former UK Security Minister, said that he is a “dead man walking” who will be “hunted down like Osama Bin-Laden”.
