Taliban militants were killed after hour-long fight at the Kabul’s international airport early this morning.

The Planes have been diverted as the Taliban fighters used grenades and exchanged gunfire with heavily guarded Afghan soldiers in the capital.

Reuters quoted Sediq Sediqqi, a spokesman for the interior ministry, as saying, “Four terrorists were killed by police special forces. The area is being cleared now, there are no casualties to our forces.”

Only on Tuesday, at least 43 people were killed and 74 were injured after a bomb exploded in a car a crowded market of Paktika, close to Afghanistan-Pakistan border.

The series of attacks come at a time when the US is planning to withdraw its troops from Afghanistan.

About Sprightly Spirit

“I dare do all that may become a man. Who dares more is none”. And all, may be. It may be the vigor. Or the spirit. Or the courage to avoid being “politically correct” or bent. And, ban all averse with immaculate overture of graciously fathomable words firm in views. Subtle. Justifying the undying conscience. Values. Knowledge. And, dares to stay true. True to own. True to the world. And, to the words. With a dream in eyes it exists. In you. In me. In all. The sprite that never shies away. The spirit that never dies!
