Delhi Court extends custody of Umar Khalid and Anirban Bhattacharya

In the latest development, a Delhi court on Monday, allowed the custodial interrogation of JNU students Umar Khalid and Anirban Bhattacharya, both arrested on the ground of sedition. The court has also arrested their custody by one more day as the police claimed the duo were required for the further probe to discover the larger conspiracy.

The PTI was told by the police sources that the anti-terror unit of Delhi police — Special Cell — to which the case has been transferred, needed some time to interrogate both the accused.

Khalid, Bhattacharya and the President of the JNUSU, Kanhaiya Kumar were interrogated earlier and the police claim to have identified 22 people subsequently.

About Sprightly Spirit

“I dare do all that may become a man. Who dares more is none”. And all, may be. It may be the vigor. Or the spirit. Or the courage to avoid being “politically correct” or bent. And, ban all averse with immaculate overture of graciously fathomable words firm in views. Subtle. Justifying the undying conscience. Values. Knowledge. And, dares to stay true. True to own. True to the world. And, to the words. With a dream in eyes it exists. In you. In me. In all. The sprite that never shies away. The spirit that never dies!
