The Home Minister Rajnath Singh on Wednesday denied the reports of snooping in Union minister Nitin Gadkari’s home by saying that the reports were false.
“There is no truth in media reports. The minister too has termed the reports as baseless and factually incorrect,” Rajnath Singh said.
He also said that no high powered listening device was found in Gadkari’s residence.
Meanwhile opposition parties led by Congress attacked the BJP over alleged snooping incident and demanded impartial probe by a joint parliamentary committee.
The house was adjourned twice as Congress MPs created chaos in Rajya Sabha.
