Malaysia Airlines to change name to boost reputation

According to some media reports, after two back to back tragedies, the Malaysia Airlines is considering changing its name to repair its falling reputation.

The Malaysian Airlines whose major stakes owned by the government, is likely to go ahead with name change as well as overhaul radical changes.

The airline’s commercial director Hugh Dunleavy wrote on The Sunday Telegraph (UK), “Our majority shareholder, the Malaysian government, has already started a process of assessing the future shape of our business and that process will now be speeded up as a result of MH17.”

“There are several options on the table but all involve creating an airline fit for purpose in what is a new era for us, and other airlines,” he said.

In March, MH370 had gone missing while traveling from Kuala Lumpur to Beijing with 239 passengers. The plane is yet to be found.

In July, Boeing 777 with 298 people was shot down by a missile in Ukraine while travelling from Amsterdam to Kuala Lumpur. All passengers and crew members were killed.

The Malaysian Airlines, the world one of the most popular airlines, carries 50,000 passengers per day and employs 20,000 staff.

“Airlines such as ours should be left to focus on the quality of our product in the air, not on the air corridor we fly in, which should be guaranteed as safe passage,” Dunleavy wrote.

About Sprightly Spirit

“I dare do all that may become a man. Who dares more is none”. And all, may be. It may be the vigor. Or the spirit. Or the courage to avoid being “politically correct” or bent. And, ban all averse with immaculate overture of graciously fathomable words firm in views. Subtle. Justifying the undying conscience. Values. Knowledge. And, dares to stay true. True to own. True to the world. And, to the words. With a dream in eyes it exists. In you. In me. In all. The sprite that never shies away. The spirit that never dies!
