Chairman of school arrested in Bangalore rape case

A new arrest has been made in 6-year-old girl rape case in Bangalore. The Police have arrested Rustom Kerawalla, the Chairman of Vibgyor High School from Daman and Diu for covering up the incident.

Kerawalla has been arrested under IPC Section 201 for destroying the evidence and IPC Section 23 of Juvenile Justice Act.

The new Police Commissioner MN Reddi said that Kerawalla was failed to provide safety to the children in the school and also refused to share information.

Police is still searching another gym instructor who has been accused of sexually molesting the girl in school. Only Police have arrested a ski instructor for raping the girl.

Meanwhile Protests continued outside the school and demand for action against the school authorities for protecting the culprits growing.
