B’town doesn’t trend in favor of big names and star kids – Jacqueline Fernandez

In counting actresses from Bollywood posses the ability to speak their heart. More than a publicity or image making, to reveal our true self and express fully for any star is very challenging in the Fame world. However, for this straightforward and simple nature, Srilankan Beauty Jacqueline Fernandez has been highly appreciated. She doesn’t believe in just luck despite having carved a niche for herself in a very short span. The beauty mentions “Nothing in life that you truly desire is available easily unless you work incredibly hard for it”.  In conversation with this B’town diva Jacqueline has spelled some un-heard moments from her life about her career, personal life and her fitness like never before…

How would you take your journey in B’town Industry?

Truly speaking, at times I am amazed thinking about how this time has been passed in a blink and I have created my own identity in Bollywood such that people know me by my own name. Nevertheless, it has been an uphill journey but what worked for me was the constant support from some B’town friends and choosing the right films at the right time. Today, many people flock to this industry with dreams in their eyes but sadly, rarely their hard work is recognized by the world. I do not consider this as just the luck but it is a strong persuasion of our goals. Luck favors the one who favors themselves.

Actors with Bollywood background are able to accomplish their goals easily as compared to the struggling new comers, what comes in your mind?

There is nothing that compensates hard work. If the industry would trend only in favor of big name and star kids, then it would not be possible for others to enter or survive in Bollywood. In present scenario, we have witnessed many stars, who does not have Bollywood background and still they have excelled everyone else. It perplexes me when people ask this question as it sounds like a controversy in the making. When a doctor’s son gets inspired to become a doctor, businessman kids like to carry forward their father’s business legacy, what’s the harm in the fact that if some star kids are keen to make a name for themselves in the Bollywood. Alas, everyone’s destiny has been the outcome of their own perseverance and hard work. If you show up with talent and hard work, then this industry appreciates you the way you deserve.

Jacqueline’s fitness has been the talk of the town now, what’s hidden behind the wall?

As compared to my fitness, I always find other actresses from Bollywood more fit (Laughing). If we talk about Malaika Arora or Shilpa Shetty, you will be amazed by their incredible maintenance of health.
Talking about myself, I enjoy eating all types of food. I am an avid foodie who is in love with Indian food. One should surely watch what they are eating in terms of quantity and type of food. It is must to workout daily and it saves us from all disappointments. The more and the best is in-taking of lots of water, juice & buttermilk. I love chocolates so I ensure that I eat low sugar or dark chocolates, that also reduces stress. I enjoy doing yoga, swimming and dancing and it essentially helps me in keeping fit.

Jacqueline looks incredibly beautiful on screen, how do we see Jacqueline in real?

I am a real beauty as well (giggling). Truly speaking, in real.. I am a carefree soul who least bothers about the world. I am someone who always listens to my heart and follow my intuitions. Like a normal girl, I too love my family very much. I am much pampered and loved by my father and siblings. Like other’s I do tend to cry on watching emotional films. While dressing up, I do try different dresses 50 times and when they don’t fit, I get real disappointment. Every year, I make a resolution and then falter on it. And that makes me a very common person, really.

What if Jacqueline isint shooting nor travelling, what the girly does in her spare time?

I am mad about watching movies and especially am a big lover of Bollywood films. In my spare time, I enjoy watching old films and read selected novels. Due to the busy work schedule, I rarely get to talk to my near ones. So when I have spare time I make the most of it by connecting with them. I try managing my personal life and work as well as I plan ahead for work such that I perform well in future roles.
