The magical world is all set to take us on another adventure. This time, it’s with Newt Scamander (Eddie Redmanye). After the teaser left everyone eager and wanting for more, the trailer is finally out and we could not have asked for a better one.
Set in 1926’s American Wizarding World, the movie revolves around the adventures that Newt comes across once the beasts from his suitcase are set loose in the city of New York. This is the first film of the trilogy.
Here are a few things we have learned about the much awaited movie from the trailer:
1. Newt Scamander is expelled
Newt is expelled from Hogwarts for causing threat to the life of students because of harbouring a beast with him. What we also know from the trailer is that Albus Dumbeldore fights hard against this decision. First, Newt, and then Hagrid – Albus Dumbeldore does stand with his students all the time!
2. MACUSA
The American Ministry of Magic is called MACUSA. We can see a large portrait of President Seraphina, looking fierce and dominating.
3.Apparation
So, despite been expelled from Hogwarts, Newt apparates, as can be seen in the last few seconds of the trailer.
4.The curious case of the briefcase.
First, it has the Muggle Worthy setting, which literally transforms the case containing all those fantastic beasts. And if that was not enough, in the end, we see Newt disappearing into the briefcase. This magic reminds us of the beaded bag charmed by Hermione in Dealthy Hallows Part-1.
With all the magnificent beasts, beautiful birds and great characters, one cannot help but feel nostalgic when Hedwig’s theme – the very theme which introduced us to this beautiful magical world – plays in the background.
The excitement is contagious and we cannot wait for the 18th of November to arrive soon!
