I WANTED TO DO A ROLE THAT EVERYONE WILL REMEMBER- ZALAK DESAI

Zalak Desai who has been seen in Star Plus’s Siya Ke Ram is very happy that she has bagged a role that will stay with her and the audiences forever. Zalak is playing the role of Shanta who Ram’s sister. While the show is talking about the story of Ramayan from Sita’s perspective the show is also showcasing the important stories of young Ram and Sita.

“I will be playing the role of Ram’s Sister in Siya Ke Ram. Very few people knew that Ram actually had a sister despite it being mentioned in almost all Ramayan’s. But nothing like this or emphasis has never been given to Ram having a sister. Since the show is from Sita’s perspective we are also showcasing the childhood of Ram and Sita.

Thus this unheard story of Shanta is coming out to the audience. I am very glad that I am getting the honor to play this role as it will for sure remain in the minds of the audiences for a very long time”, commented Zalak Desai.
