Pakistan Channel Hero TV Drops Veena Malik’s Show ‘Ashtaghfar’

Pakistani television channel Hero TV has decided to drop controversial actor Veena Malik’s show ‘Ashtaghfar’ after massive public outrage in Pakistan. The special religious show ‘Ashtaghfar’ was scheduled to telecast during holy Ramadan.  

The promo featuring Veena Malik received massive criticism and protest in social Media. The blogs, news reports and social networking sites were filed with agitation against the show as they are irritated by seeing Veena mallick in serious religious program.

An online petition was submitted to the Pakistan Electronic Media Regulatory Authority against the program.

Amidst the intense protest finally Hero TV cancels Mallick’s show.

Veena Mallck came to limelight after participating in the Indian reality TV show Bigg Boss.
