Pratyusha Banerjee in Vikram Bhatt’s next

Pratyusha Banerjee who is popularly known as ‘Anandi’ of ‘Balika Vadhu’ is all set to act in director Vikram Bhatt’s next film. Pratyusha quit the show to try her luck in Bollywood.

TV’s leading lady Partyusha’s sudden departure from the popular daily Balika Vadhu however has hampered the show. The TRP has dropped significantly and the replacement for her by the channel has not gone too well with the audience. Actor Toral Rasputra who had replaced Pratyusha, has disappointed world-wide audience.

Pratyusha became popular after she stepped into the little ‘ Anandi ‘ of ‘Balika Vadhu’ since 2010. She quit the show on March 4.

In conversation with IANS, Pratyusha Banerjee said that there is no primary reason for her to leave her show, “I have left the show. There is no reason as such. It was a mutual discussion between me and my channel. The talks were on for a few months that I wanted to quit, but they also had to find someone who could take the story forward. Now I think they have found someone.”
