Ping Pong Summer To Have a Theaterical Release Early Summer

Another Sundance premier – Ping Pong Summer will be released in theaters soon. Michael Tully’s coming-of-age comedy has been acquired by Gravitas Ventures on Monday. They have announced an early summer release in theaters and VOD.

Quoting Gravitas VP Dustin Smith at the press meet, “Anyone who spent lonely teenage summers dreaming of rapping, break-dancing or even talking to a girl is going to love this movie. Plus, where else are you going to see Susan Sarandon wield a fish like a weapon?”

Starring Lea Thompson, Susan Sarandon and Amy Sedaris – Ping Pong Summer is a revolves around a family vacation during the summer of 1985 changes everything for a teenage boy obsessed with ping pong.
