Marc Webb Not To Direct The Amazing Spiderman 4

According the media releases late yesterday, Marc Webb has decided to stay away from Amazing Spiderman 4.

“I’ve already talked to these guys about it, but in terms of directing, will close out my tenure. I’ve had so much fun doing it, but after the third movie, it’ll be the time to find something else.” said Webb. He also added, “I’d like to be involved as a consultant”.

A few days back Sony has declared that it is planning to release a Spider-Man franchise film annually. And, Marc Webb’s statement may be a blow to that since, lately this franchise has only been a face-saver for the company in last years.
