“It Takes A Thief” is on for a film

It Takes A Thief to be made filmUniversal is turning 1970s famous “It Takes a Thief” tele series into a film. Inspired by the famous TV show which depicts the story of a young CIA analyst who recruits a brilliant thief, who has managed to evade the CIA to work for him, Greg Russo is being roped in to pen the script. The original was a creation of Roland Kibbee.

 The then popular TV show ran from 1968 to 1970 with a total of 66 episodes.

The earlier cast was Robert Wagner, Fred Astaire, Malachi Throne in the leads. The cast is still to be counted. John Davis is producing through his Davis Entertainment banner. As per reports, Derek Dauchy will oversee for Davis, with Scott Bernstein overseeing it for Universal.
