The acclaimed Oscar-nominated actor Steve Carell has confirmed his negotiation with Warner Bros for the role in Minecraft’ movie, based on the popular cube-centric videogame.
Warner Bros has obtained film rights for this game which is said to be the second best-selling game of all time.
Screenplay by Jason Fuchs, the film will be directed by Rob McElhenney.
Carell is currently busy with ‘Battle of the Sexes’ which also stars Emma Stone.
