Singer Lily Allen is in a racial controversy

US pop star Lily Allen has found herself in the middle of a nasty criticism for using ‘black women as props’ in her new music video.

Singer Lily Allen is in a racial controversyAccording to dailystar.co.uk Lily Allen has been accused of racism following the criticism for portraying black dancers as ‘s***s’, in her comeback song ‘Hard out here’ video.

Critics are saying that the video features Allen with four black dancers and two white dancers and the difference between these two are ‘objectionable’.

“It’s about black women’s bodies served up for a very white, male gaze,” said a campaigner Reni Eddo-Lodge.

“Black women are used as props, shaking their a**es,” blogger Batty Manzele said.

Lily Allen, however, denied all accusations and ruled out apology.

“It has nothing to do with race. I’m not going to apologise. That would imply I’m guilty of something,” Allen Twitted.

About Sprightly Spirit

“I dare do all that may become a man. Who dares more is none”. And all, may be. It may be the vigor. Or the spirit. Or the courage to avoid being “politically correct” or bent. And, ban all averse with immaculate overture of graciously fathomable words firm in views. Subtle. Justifying the undying conscience. Values. Knowledge. And, dares to stay true. True to own. True to the world. And, to the words. With a dream in eyes it exists. In you. In me. In all. The sprite that never shies away. The spirit that never dies!
