“The Railway Man” received rave reviews at Toronto

The Railway Man premiered at Toronto International Film Festival is getting commendable reviews everywhere. Directed by Jonathan Teplitzky, the film explores the human psyche of a victim of WW2’s “Death Railway”.

The story revolves around the true life of one of the thousands Allied prisoners of work forced to work on the construction of Thai/Burma railway who built a radio to infuse hope among his colleagues. It was discovered and he was traumatized feverishly. Nicole Kidman portrayed a meaty character and she did it real well. The autobiography of Eric Lomax went well with the audiences at Toronto with stellar performances and an awesome screenplay by Frank Cottrell Boyce.

The film is slated to hit theatres December end this year.
