Fitness expert George Plitt Killed by Train While Filming in California

The 37-year-old fitness expert and reality TV star, George Plitt Jr was killed by a train while filming on the rail tracks in Southern California on Saturday.

Burbank Police Sgt. Scott Meadows told reporters that Plitt who has appeared on the cover of over 200 fitness magazines, was on the railroad track north of the Burbank train station on Saturday afternoon when two people men were filming him. He was hit by a Metrolink passenger train.

The police ruled out suicide.

“It’s like a blind turn,” Meadows said. “When the train came, you might not be able to tell which set the train is on.”
