Billy Crystal to pay tribute to Robin Williams at Emmys

Renowned actor, comedian and longtime friend of late Robin Williams, Billy Crystal will present a tribute to the Oscar winning actor on Monday’s Emmy Awards.

In his tribute Crystal would be speaking at length about his friend whom he had shared screen in Ivan Reitman’s 1997 comedy Father’s Day.

Executive producer of Emmys, Don Mischer, said that the 66th annual Emmy Awards will remember Williams with a “proper and meaningful remembrance.”

Noted American singer-songwriter and musician Sara Beth Bareilles who has recently dedicated her song “Hercules” to Williams — will also perform during Emmys ‘In Memoriam’ Tribute.

The Oscar-winning noted Hollywood actor and comedian Robin Williams was found dead on August 11 at his home in Tiburon in California. He was 63.

The Emmys will be held on Monday, Aug. 25, in Los Angeles.
