Ozzy Osbourne rubbishes split rumours with Sharon Osbourne

Ozzy Osbourne rubbishes recent split-up rumours with his wife Sharon and said, ‘Sharon and I are not divorcing…but I have been drinking and taking drugs.’

Ozzy Osbourne wrote on Facebook that he is not separating from his wife Sharon amidst speculation of ending his 31-year-old Osbourne marriage.

“Just to set the record straight, Sharon and I are not divorcing. I’m just trying to be a better person. For the last year and a half I have been drinking and taking drugs. I was in a very dark place and was an asshole to the people I love most, my family. However, I am happy to say that I am now 44 days sober. I would like to apologize to Sharon, my family, my friends and my band mates for my insane behavior during this period………and my fans,” the Black Sabbath singer said.

A gossip website Perez Hilton reported on Monday that the Osbourne the couple had “split-up for real”.

A spokesperson for Sharon has denied the breakup news.

Ozzy Osbourne’s son Jack Osbourne tweeted: “It’s all bullshit. Last time I check a lot of British news papers (sic) weren’t amazing sources of accurate information. Moving on…”
