Jui Gadkari aka Kalyani from Marathi daily soap ‘Pudhcha Paaul’ is the actress who has reached out in every Marathi family. She has won many hearts with her sober looks and innocent demeanor and developed a great fandom especially among women viewers.
Obviously, whatever has happened to her recently has given a jolt of shock to her fan followers. It was the evening of 8th July when Jui was celebrating her birthday at her ancestral house in Karjat when a 10 year old boy, all bruised and scarred came limping and handed over 2 letters to her Uncle. To everyone’s shock, the letter read the most unexpected thing shifting Jui’s family into a phase of tension.
It was a threat letter that read, “We want to kill Jui and that we will do. This is to inform you that Jui will die soon and the boy who delivered the letter to you will also not survive. We have attacked him with blade but he survived. He won’t survive for long. Do not inform the police or the entire family will be killed.” The boy who came with the letter escaped within a moment. Jui originally stays in Kopari area of Thane but was there at her Karjat home to celebrate her special day with family.
She soon lodged a complaint at Karjat police station and the cops have started their investigation. Luckily, the footage of the boy has been captured in CCTV camera fitted near Jui`s house and the police is currently tracking the whereabouts of that suspicious boy.
Howbeit, the actress said, “We immediately informed the police who took down a non-cognizable complaint. It’s been four days but there has been no response.”
But, special precautions are being implemented on her sets, as no stranger is allowed to enter the studio or meet her.
On career front, Jui is a Kathak dancer and has worked as an assistant director in past. She has worked in 3 serials earlier but rose to fame because of Pudhcha Paaul. She is also the great granddaughter of famous Marathi legendary writer Ram Ganesh Gadkari.
One wonders that why would anyone wish to maintain enmity with a girl like Jui who is known for her humble nature in real life too. Only their inspection will reveal whether it was a hollow threat or someone seriously wants to harm her. There is no option other than relying on police investigation and their safety measures. Hope they find the culprit who is at the creating end of this suddenly arisen problem before the dawn of 20th July.
