Naksh gives his first salary to Golden Temple

Rohan Mehra who is gaining a lot of popularity for his character of Naksh in Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai is happy with all the recognition coming his way. Even though he feels he is on cloud nine with the appreciation he is getting for his character, he is still bonded to his roots. Rohan who hails from Amritsar, donated his first check which he got for the show Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai to the golden temple as he feels wherever he is today, it is because of his upbringing and belief in Babaji.

Rohan says, “I have always wanted to be an actor and thought I will somehow manage to make little place in the industry but never thought or believed that I would play one of the leads in a top show on STAR Plus channel. Hence wherever I am today, I feel it is because of my parents and Babaji. I feel that the first salary from this project should be placed in the durbar at the Golden temple. I would also like to visit the temple soon when I get a break from work”. Rohan also went to South Africa for an outdoor shoot for the show and bonded with his onscreen sister Ashnoor and Karan Mehra. He says, “It is the perfect role for any actor and I am glad I got it this early”.
