Vidya Balan has reportedly opted out from the much hyped Ekta Kapoor and Vishal Bhardwaj project Daayan. A source close to the actress told media that Vidya is not interested to play a role of Dayaan or witch anymore.
“She felt she had very little to do in the film because it centres around Emraan Hashmi‘s character and his relationship with three women,” explained the source.
It is learnt that both Ekta and Bhardwaj is very upset with Vidya’s decision and already made a shortlist of probable names who can fit in the role.
Prior to Vidya Rani Mukherjee was also turned down the offer because of the same reason.
Vidya is nowadays busy promoting her upcoming release ‘Dirty Picture’.
