Twinkle Khanna refuses to forgive Naseeruddin Shah for insulting Rajesh Khanna

Twinkle Khanna, daughter of late Bollywood Superstar Rajesh Khanna, has refused to forgive veteran actor Naseeruddin Shah who had earlier called her father “limited, poor actor”.

In a recent interview Naseeruddin Shah said, “For all his success, I think Mr Khanna was a very limited actor. In fact, he was a poor actor. Intellectually, he wasn’t the most alert person I have ever met. His taste ruled the industry.”

Angry Twinkle did not waste time and retorted back in twitter.

“Sir if you can’t respect the living, respect the dead — mediocrity is attacking a man who can’t respond Naseerudin Shah,” Twinkle wrote.

Filmmaker Karan Johar too lashed out at Shah for his derogatory remarks on Rajesh Khanna.

After receiving criticism Shah apologized, but it was too late.

“I apologise to those who were personally offended, and my intention was not to attack him (Rajesh Khanna),” Shah was quoted as saying.

In her revert Twinkle said,”All due regard toMrShah’s reality,mine=a man who loved cinema& did films likeAnand,AmarPrem,KatiPatang thank u folks for all the love.”

Dadasaheb Phalke awardee Rajesh Khanna, the First Superstar of Indian cinema had delivered 15 consecutive solo hit films from 1969 to 1971 including films like Aradhana, Anand, Haathi Mere Saathi, Amar Prem, Khamoshi, Safar, Kati Patang, and Aan Milo Sajna.
