Richard Gere All Set For Bollywood Debut

Hollywood actor Richard Gere is all set to make his debut in Bollywood movie directed by  renowned director Nila Madhab Panda. Nila Madhab Panda’s untitled next project will be based on the issue of world food security. The pre-production of the movie is expected to begin shortly.

Nila Madhab Panda got her fame from critically acclaimed movie ‘I Am Kalam’.

Gere (62) who will play the role of protagonist who visits India and gets involved with the socio-political set up of a village, is said to be very impressed with the script. The movie will also star Harsh Mayar, the National award-winning child actor.

Reportedly another Hollywood actor-singer Will Smith has also shown interest in the script and is in talks with Panda.

The movie will be shot in India, Amsterdam and Los Angeles.
