Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra Wants to shoot Bhaag Milkha Bhaag in Pakistan

Filmmaker Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra wants to shoot his upcoming movie ‘Bhaag Milkha Bhaag’ in Pakistan. Bhaag Milkha Bhaag is based on India’s legendary sprinter ‘The Flying Sikh’ Milkha Singh.  

Farhan Akhtar will starts in the title role and the shooting will begin in middle of 2012.

Director Rakeysh Mehra wants to give the movie authenticity  by doing the shoots at Faisalabad in Pakistan’s Punjab province where Olympian athlete Milkha Singh was born and grew up.

Rakeysh  in a statement confirmed the report, “Yes we are quiet keen to shoot in Pakistan to get more authenticity. We will be applying for permission soon.”

Milkha Singh represented India in the 1960 Rome Olympics and in 1964 Tokyo Olympics.
