“The Lunchbox” receives prize at Zagreb Film Festival

The LunchboxMay be the film “The Lunchbox” didn’t get through from India for the Oscar nomination in the Foreign Film category, the film keeps on getting accolades and acclaims throughout the world. this Saturday evening, there is an addition of feather to the crown with the film receiving the top prize at Zagreb Film Festival.

 One of the most prestigious and top movie event if not the only, Zagreb, Croatia hosts this film festival every year with the selection of top notch movies worldwide. This year Indian movie “The Lunchbox” received the award of best film at the closing ceremony in the historic Europa Kino movie theater, which was built in 1936.

 The film is being represented in Zagreb by lead actress Nimrat Kaur and Cedomir Kolar, one of the producers. The director Ritesh Batra delivered a “Thank You” message via tele conference.
