Hrithik Roshan pulls out of Karan Johar’s ‘Shuddhi’

Following Kareena Kapoor, actor Hrithik Roshan also pulled out of Karan Johar banner’s ‘Shuddhi’. It was supposed to be a reunite film of Hrithik-Kareena, but now director Karan Malhotra is likely to either search a new pair or shelved the project all together.
Hrithik Roshan has, however, said that he is looking forward to do another film with Agneepath director in future.

“Karan Malhotra and I have decided to unite in the most ambitious way post ‘Shuddhi’. For now, I cannot allow a vision like ‘Shuddhi’ to stagnate any further,” Hrithik said in an official statement.

“I had the finest experience an actor can have while working with Karan in ‘Agneepath’ and I’m sure both my dear Karans (Malhotra and Johar) will go beyond with that one. ‘Shuddhi’ remains a part of me in spirit and (I) am sure it will be a landmark in our cinema. I wish them all the best,” he added.

It’s is believed that he has quit the film for health reasons.

Earlier Kareena said that she is not sure whether to do the film.

“I don’t know when it will happen. Since one and half years, it has got postponed. I haven’t met Karan Johar and Hrithik is busy doing a movie titled Bang Bang. Whenever the movie goes to the floors, I will decide whether to do it,” Kareena had said.

The new buzz is that instead of abandoning the project the filmmakers are now approaching Ranbir Kapoor and Deepika Padukone for  ‘Shuddhi’.
