According to an inspector at Regional Transport Office (RTO), Bollywood actor Salman Khan did not have the driving license when his car smashed into a bakery in suburban Bandra, killing one person and injuring four others sleeping outside the bakery in 2002. The officer told the Sessions court on Monday during the hearing of the hit-and-run case.

The witness, an assistant inspector at RTO, informed Session Judge DW Deshpande that the actor got his driving license only in 2004 and did not have the license when the incident took place. He even produced the records of the actor’s driving license before the court.

The hit-and-run case is now carrying out on a day-to-day basis hearing and already 20 witnesses have already been interrogated.

The city Magistrate, after examining 17 witnesses, held that the charge of culpable homicide not amounting to murder against 49-year-old actor, and referred the case to the sessions court. The charge of culpable homicide can lead up to a 10-year sentence.

About Sprightly Spirit

“I dare do all that may become a man. Who dares more is none”. And all, may be. It may be the vigor. Or the spirit. Or the courage to avoid being “politically correct” or bent. And, ban all averse with immaculate overture of graciously fathomable words firm in views. Subtle. Justifying the undying conscience. Values. Knowledge. And, dares to stay true. True to own. True to the world. And, to the words. With a dream in eyes it exists. In you. In me. In all. The sprite that never shies away. The spirit that never dies!
