HC asks police to prosecute Akshay-Twinkle for obscenity

The Bombay High Court has asked police to prosecute Bollywood couple Akshay Kumar and Twinkle Khanna in an obscenity case which was registered in 2009.

The incident took place during a fashion show in 2009 when Akshay was walking the ramp. He invited asked his wife Twinkle unbuttoned his jeans on the ramp which created controversy.

A complaint of obscene act against Akshay Kumar, his wife Twinkle Khanna and the event management company was filed on March 30, 2009 at Vakola Police Station.

Although Justice Abhay Thipsay rejected the complaint against event management firm, he said that police should prosecute the actors and the director of the fashion show.
